| Go to your facebook wall and pick the last 14 people that wrote on your
wall and write their names in the order they show up. If someone has
written on your wall twice, skip to the next new person; don't repeat a
name. Don't read the questions underneath until you write the names of
all 14 people.
1. Elizabeth Johnson 2. Lindsay Schultz 3. Claire Plank 4. Susan Engberg 5. Kallie Gray 6. Alli Kildahl 7. Christine Grotjohn 8. Amanda Ziemer 9. Paul Buck 10. Megan Richards 11. Andrea Iverson 12. Amy Koskela (Gullikson now) 13. Seyward Mattson 14. Mike Barnett
How did you meet 4? (Susan) During her freshman orientation and I was a CF. We sat next to each other at the hypnotist.
Something about 1: (Liz) She got engaged maybe 6 months after we broke up.
What would you do if 6 and 2 dated? (Alli and Lindsay) I'd be annoyed by them, because I'd have to comfort Matt for a while, assuming Alli dumped Matt for Lindsay.
Have you ever seen 10 cry? (Megan) Nope. I've seen her slightly stressed and given her comfort hugs, but nary a tear.
How long have you known 8? (Amanda) Since GYO Fall Fest 2006. She's on my GYO team, and that's when we found out who was on our team.
Would you date 12? (Amy) Well, she's married, and rather conservative, and three years older than me. So no.
What do you think about 7? (Christine) Good kid. Too bad she won't be able to continue GYO. She's pretty busy. From Morris, hometown of Seyward.
What would you do if 5 confessed they like you? (Kallie) Hard to say. Kallie's pretty cool, but I've never had a romantic attraction to her. I definitely need to realize that just because somebody likes me doesn't mean that I like them. Flattery does not mean attraction.
Who does 10 date? (Megan) Eric Christensen, from St. John's. He knows my buddy Colt. Fun stuff.
What does 5 do for a living? (Kallie) Student now, teacher later.
Would you ever live with 13? (Seyward) Hard to say. Living with ex-girlfriend might be awkward.
Is 2 single? (Lindsay) Yup. I've never seen or heard of evidence to the contrary.
Where does 8 live? (Amanda) Complex. I think Sorensen.
What do you think about 3? (Claire) I really like Claire. She's been a good friend for a long time. She was in Matt's play and did a very good job. I'd never seen her act before.
Fact about 9: (Paul) Loves cows. Is in Egypt right now I'm pretty sure.
Best memory with 2 (Lindsay) Hmm. Hard to say. Potentially keeping score of annoying kids in Anthro class.
Best feature of 11 (Andrea) She's got a cute smile
What do you think about 6? (Alli) Solid kid. She and Matt are really happy together, and they're diabetically sweetly cute together.
Is 14 the coolest person you know? (Mike) He's pretty cool. In Kenya right now, which in itself is really cool. Did the same job at Many Point this year that I did two years ago, also really cool. Definitely one of the coolest.

| So I have a post following my previous recital on this page still. That was almost nine months ago. Well, it's time for round two. The even better Ben Richter recital will be on December 9th at 3:30pm. Make a point to be there. Hear such wonderful classics as "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, "Brothers in Ice" from How To Talk Minnesotan, "Rail No More Ye Learned Asses" by William Boyce, and "The Grinch Song" as recorded by Go Fish. I'll be playing trombone too. Anyway, life is still good. Christmas in Christ Chapel is this weekend, and the school lost my parents' ticket order, but fortunately they replaced them for free, so my family can still all come for the concert/service/whatever it is.
A RECITAL! This is kind of what my recital will be like, except it'll be at Gustavus. I won't be playing a saxophone, and I won't be wearing a dress. At least I hadn't planned on it.
| Yeah, a cliché title, I know. But really, I'm not dead, just rather not interested in Xanga. I did feel like enough has happened in the past while to warrant a post, however. First, some sad news: Seyward and I broke up. Short story is that I took her for granted and didn't give her the full attention she deserved, so she broke it off. In more happy news, though, I had a really fun Halloween weekend. I hosted a Halloween party in my apartment, which rocks, and we had a good time playing games, and luckily nobody got drunk here this time. Our equinox party was a little different. Anyway, on Halloween day, we had a ska Proclaim. All of the usual worship songs we sing in Proclaim were done in a ska style. Or else we just added horn parts to them. We did a lot of standards, and everyone had a great time. Last night was one of the greatest I've had in a long time. I got to see my funk idol: Victor Wooten. Easily the best concert I've ever been to, but maybe just because it was the most recent. Still, 4 friggin' virtuosos on stage (3 of them brothers), and some other really good performers, too. In case you don't know who Victor Wooten is, he's arguably the best bass player alive, and I don't know many people who would argue with you. He had one bass that was black, blue strings (hot looking), but the best part about it was that it lit up as he played it. It was so awesome. I was going to meet Aaron there originally, but he had to work, but fortunately I ran into Scott, an old buddy from high school there, so I got to hang with somebody for the night. All in all, this has been an amazing week.
VICTOR WOOTEN! Yeah, that's him, and his awesome basses. Best part about him, all 4-strings. Old school.
| So it's been a while since the last post. Things have happened, but nothing too noteworthy. Today is the day our CF contract ends, and I can go home. I start at Easter on Wednesday, so that's pretty exciting. Finals ended well, and I felt pretty good about all of my classes. It was my birthday the other day, and I turned 21, but I still haven't had any alcohol yet, and I still don't really know if I want any. It all smells nasty, so it must not taste any good either, and nothing about being drunk is appealing. In fact, quite the opposite. The great thing is that I don't feel any pressure to drink. My family totally understands it, though my brother did get me a bottle of nice German wine that's supposedly very sweet, that I may try. Seyward doesn't drink at all, and I really like that. Plus, her family rocks. I got to hang out with them for an entire weekend, and they came down yesterday for her graduation. As far as our relationship goes, it's still going strong, and we plan to continue during the summer, and we'll hopefully get to see each other often enough. It'll be rough not being able to see her anytime I want to, but I'm hopeful that it will work.
SEYWARD! She is definitely a big boat.

| Hearing about all of these people that are finishing or actually done with school is making it hard to care about school, but it's winding down. Just two weeks of classes, another week for finals, and another week for senior week. I come home on May 29th. May 31st, I start my internship at Easter Lutheran. Should be a great experience. I'm really excited for my buddy Mike to go to Many Point and I hope to visit again.
25 DAYS! That's all, just 25 days.
